Stay Away From Me!

"Stay Away From Me!" is an exciting top-down 2D game where the player takes on the role of a character who must venture out to the store to purchase toilet paper during a pandemic. However, the journey to the store is not an easy one. The streets are filled with dangerous obstacles and infected individuals who are trying to stop the player from reaching their goal.

The game features randomly generated stages that get progressively harder as the player progresses. The player must collect toilet paper and monster energy to increase their chances of survival. Toilet paper can be collected along the way, and every piece counts towards the player's final score. Meanwhile, Monster energy is essential for healing the player and restoring lost health during their journey. 

As the player progresses through the game, they can upgrade certain abilities to better prepare themselves for future runs. These abilities include increased stamina, faster movement speed, and stronger attacks to take out any obstacles in their path.

"Stay Away From Me!" was developed for the SPONGIA game development tournament in 2020 and received second place.
